About The Author
During my first 23 years in the home building industry, I held management roles at a national home builder, including positions in sales, marketing, merchandising, research, and product development. I also served as a regional president, overseeing $100 million in sales.
Then, for 15 years, I provided sales training and marketing expertise to over 100 home builders across the country. During that time, I was featured as a subject matter expert in well-known media, including Builder Magazine, Builder Radio, Realtor, Realty Times, The Real Estate Professional, Texas Builder, Texas Homebuilder, and Professional Builder.
In 2006, I wrote my first book, Building Results—The Ultimate Guide to New Home Sales. This book achieved that: it offered a fresh, practical approach to the new home sales process. It taught on-site salespeople how to create an environment that psychologically attracts potential buyers, guiding them to a deep understanding of customers’ needs and wants.
